"Application of Combination Law to the Data of National High School Examinations in Supporting Association Consultancy" set may lack of valuable information or generate redundant rules which is often not worth in real case, cost a lot of resources and real costs. This paper focuses on studying the algorithm of mining top-k nonredundant association rules and applying this algorithms to mining data of the National High School Exams in previous years. Its result will be used for proposing a consulting system for students to enroll into universities, helping students increase their chances of being admitted to universities after they have taken the exam results.
