In a yeast two-hybrid screen, we found that emerininteracts with Btf, a death-promoting transcriptionalrepressor, which is expressedat high levels in skeletalmuscle.Biochemical analysis showed that emerin binds Btf with anequilibriumaffinity (KD)of100 nM.
