Cơ bản thiết kế asemblyBASIC ASSEMBLY DESIGN 79 Click hereClick here Click here There is a number of ways to enter ASSEMBLY DESIGN mode. Any ONE way will do it. 80Assembling your individual parts into oneassembly is very simple and user friendlyin Catia. The first thing to do is gather upyour parts. Here we have a simple platewith a hole in the middle. 81We are going to take this one inchdiameter rod and insert it through the holein our plate using the ASSEMBLY DESIGNfeatures. Ensure that you have saved yourparts to a convenient location for quickaccess later. 82Now you are in Assembly mode.Notice on the beginning of the newspecification tree it says product.Your product will be the assemblyof the parts you made. 83This is your PRODUCT STRUCTURE toolbar. It ishow you will bring in your parts you have madeand saved. Single click “Product” in yourspecification tree, and then click INSERTCOMPONENT. From here you can instead clickNEW PART and draw one as needed. Otheroptions are also here self-evident by their names. NewComponent NewPart InsertComponent ManageRepresentations ReplaceComponent FastMultiInstantination 84Here is the first part brought in using InsertComponent. It’s existence is reflected in thespecification tree. Now we will bring in thenext part the same way. 85Both parts are now in the Assemblyenvironment, and both are reflected in thetree. They enter the environment inapproximately the same orientation thatthey were saved. You can now move andorient them the way you wish. Catia willhelp you here. 86This is your CONSTRAINTS toolbar for use inassemblies. They are also named in a self-explanatory manner. COINCIDENCE and CONTACTconstraints will be used most. Coincidence Contact Offset Angle Fixcomponents Fixtogether Quickconstraints ReUsepattern 87The first skill you will want to learn hereis how to manually move parts aroundrelative to one another. Pick the face ofthe Plate and prepare to move it. 88Grab the COMPASS from the top right cornerof your screen. Put your cursor on the redsquare of the compass and click and drag it tothe highlighted part. 89 flagpoleOnce on your part, the compass becomesgreen when active. As you move yourcursor over it, different parts will turnorange. The orange part highlightedrepresents the way the part will rotate.Picking the “flagpole” will move the partin a linear motion. 90 Once you have moved the parts relative to one another, since we are locating round parts we will use COINCIDENCE RESTRAINT. Choose this and then pick the centerlines of the two parts involved.Centerline chosen 91As you pick the secondcenterline, Catia willautomatically constrain them.If Catia does not immediatelyline them up, click theUPDATE icon. 92Here are the two parts with acoincidence constraint applied ,ready to be put together. Wecan do this manually. 93Pick the face of the rod and put thecompass there. Grab the “flagpole”and slide the rod into the holeroughly half way. We will constrain itexactly in a moment. 94Here is your part ready for the finalconstraint. We will constrain it so that halfthe rod sticks out of either side of theplate. 95Choose OFFSET constraint and thenpick the plate face and the rod face.In the dialog box that pops up,enter the offset. Here we will use2.5 inches. 96Finally, here is your part ...
