Translational medicine refers to the process by which the results of research done inthe laboratory are directly used to develop new ways to treat patients. It depends onthe comprehensive integration of the entire breadth of patient data with basic lifesciencedatatofacilitateandevaluatedrugdevelopment[2].Inthe1990s,severalefforts related to data integration emerged, including the Archimedes Project and theuse of heterogeneous data integration, mathematical and computational modeling, andsimulation to expose the underlying dynamics and different individual treatmentresponse patterns clinicians observed in patients diagnosed with Major Depressive Dis-order [7][8].
