Diagnostic value of dermoscopy in basal cell carcinoma

To evaluate the value (specificity, sensitivity) of dermoscopy in the diagnosis of basal cells carcinomas (BCCs) at National Hospital of Dermatology and Venereology (NHDV). A cross-sectional study was carried out in 95 patients of BCC at NHDV from July 2018 to July 2019. The lesions were checked by dermoscopy and biopsy - histopathology. The dermoscopy result was conpared to the biopsy result which was considered the gold standard in BCC diagnosis.
