Creative teaching in the age of rapidly developing information technology is a major problem of concern. The problem is how to develop the capacity and creative thinking for students while a wide range of knowledge is increasing rapidly and the classroom learning time is decreasing. This article provides a model of creative teaching through using an effective online learning system for the computer architecture module.

Introduction *student’s learning at classroom with highlyinteractive quite; the test results isautomatically processed and saved to thesubject scores. This system is suitable forindividual assignments, group exercises andstudents can submit theirs homework online,they also can exchange information online anddiscuss regularly with teachers through forumsand meetings online. In addition, this systemalso can be used to organize for middle andfinal term exams in the form of quizzes online.1.1. Online learning systemTogether with the development ofinformation and communication technology,many online learning systems for differentsubjects have been built on the open Moodlesource. This system is used to support teachingand has obtained initial certain success.However, in order guarantee these systemspromote high efficient and adapt to currentteaching practices, these problems are raised:How to carry out online teaching system? Howto use this system in teaching? These questionswill be answered in this article.Which system [1, 3, 6] is built as a website.In the website, teachers can give electroniclectures to the students to self-study at home.Using multiple choice tests to examineregularly and periodic assessment of students’self-studies at home; examine and evaluate the1.2. For the self-study to be effective, theE-learning system which provides learners withelectronic lessons’ content visually and vividlyand give the questions for which students havedeep understanding and practical application.1.3. Creative teachingThe creative teaching can be considered asthe following [2, 5]:- The process of teaching is focused on theobjectives of capacity development and creativethinking of students.- Raising the issue of teaching methods forstudents rather than teaching academic content.Paying more attention on how students will learn?- Ensuring the integrity of teaching process.Creating more opportunities for learners toparticipate.- Using various methods, forms oforganization, facilities and teaching materials.- Spending more time for application andcommunication activities, working in smallgroups and solving problems.- Enhancing visualization, multi-sensoryteaching and multiple intelligences.- More feedbacks to teachers- Evaluation is based on the carrying capacity- Creative teaching will help students todevelop sufficient levels of cognitive thinking(Figure 1).1.4. Self studySelf-study [7] is the process in which thelearners are voluntary, positive, and active tolearning objects to gain the knowledge, skills,andself-perfection.Self-studyisanindependent, personal process but effective selfstudy is not only dependent on the efforts ofFigure 1. However; the design andimplementation of the system which motivatethe self-learning capacity and improve learners’ability as well as creative thinking of students isthe issue to be solved in this paper. A model ofcreative teaching by using an effective onlinelearning system for teaching computerarchitecture is presented hereby.2. Contents of the study2.1. Organizing online learning system onarchitecture computer moduleOur online learning system is designed athttp://khanhmckm.com. A system of e-learningwith the open source Moodle is built, includingonline courses organized in modules or thememodule.
