Movement terms in English and Vietnamese conceptually metaphorical expressions of love

Movement has a tremendous impact on human actions and thoughts because it is closely attached to our daily activities. As a result, terms of movement play an important role in expressing changes in both physical and emotional worlds, including love. Love becomes more vivid and diversified thanks to the terms of movement, which is a result of our investigation under the light of the conceptual metaphor theory raised by Lakoff and Johnson.
