Regional inequality in medium term credit flow by the DCCBs in Maharashtra, India

The present study entitled “Performance of District Central Cooperative Banks in Maharashtra State” has been undertaken to examine the performance of DCCBs in Maharashtra by way of studying the trends in performance indicators both period wise and region wise. The attempt has been made to examine purpose wise lending activities by DCCBs and share of DCCBs in total credit disbursement for agriculture in Maharashtra. The attempt has been made to examine the magnitude and direction of inequality in the flow of credit and the determinants in the short term credit amongst the regions in the state.
