Despite our best intentions, most of what constitutes modern medicalimaging practice is based on habit, anecdotes, and scientific writings thatare too often fraught with biases. Best estimates suggest that only around30% of what constitutes “imaging knowledge” is substantiated by reliablescientific inquiry.
