Pristine and strontium doped ZnO nanometric films were successfully synthesized on heated glass substrates by the ultrasonic spray pyrolysis technique. The samples were characterized by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), Atomic Force Microscope (AFM), UV-visible spectroscopy and photoluminescence (PL).
