Warm up.Ask Ss to give the way to ask for the directions and the way to reply them.- Ask Ss to write on the BB. - Turn left, turn right. Go ahead. - Go straight a head. Take the first street on the left/ righ t.B. Pre- listening.- Ask Ss to answer the questions How many roads/ streets/ offices are there?- Introduce the new words :( base on the picture in the text book)Highway: đường cao tốc. Tourist information center: tung tâm thông tindu lịchBus station: trạm xe buýt. Hotel: khách sạn Pagoda; chùaTemple: đền Restaurant: nhà hàngAsk Ss to read the new words aloud.B. While –listening.Introduce the listening and ask Ss to listen to the tape about the places mentionedabove on the map.Play the tape and ask Ss to match the places to their correct position.Ask Ss to write the answer on the BB and read the answers aloud then check. a) restaurant b) Hotel. c) Bus station. d) Pagoda. e) Temple.- Play the tape again to let Ss check their answers. Ha hoa stadium.-Work in pairs to practice.-Call some pairs to practice aloud in front of the rest. Others listen to them.A. Could you tell me the way to Ha hoa hospital?B. Yes, of course. You must go straight this road. Then you take the first street on the left. Go along about 100 meters then you turn right. Take the second street on your left. The hospital is in front of you.A.
