Vinblastine and paclitaxel (Taxol) are widely used chemotherapeutic drugsthat inhibit the normal function of microtubules causing mitotic arrest andcell death. Despite these similarities, the signaling pathways that mediateand regulate cell death induced by these agents remain incompletely under-stood.
