Công tác xã hội với người đồng tính, song tính và chuyển giới: Kinh nghiệm quốc tế và bài học cho Việt Nam

Bài viết dưới đây đi sâu vào phân tích kinh nghiệm quốc tê về lĩnh vực công tác xã hội với người LGBT tại các quốc gia có nền công tác xã hội phát triển, trong đó tập trung chủ yếu vào kinh nghiệm của Mỹ và Ireland. Dựa trên các kinh nghiệm quốc tế này, tác giả đưa ra một số đề xuất và kiến nghị nhằm thúc đẩy sự phát triển của lĩnh vực công tác xã hội với người đồng tính, song tính và chuyển giới ở Việt Nam trong bối cảnh hiện nay.

A number of recent research studies have found thatLGBT people are in great need of support services from social work. However, in reality,there are very few services avaible for LGBT users, and there are only few of themaccessing to those services as well. This article will analyse the international experienceof social work with LGBT people in nations where social work most developed, focusingmainly on the experience of the U.S. and Ireland. Based on these internationalexperiences, the author offers a number of suggestions and recommendations topromote the model of social work with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people inVietnam in the current context.
