Presentation: a, B4: Listen: *Pre- teach : - T asks Ss to look at the picture (T/P25) then ask them some questions . - How many people are there in the picture? - Who are they? - Can you guess what Mr Tan is asking Hoa? - T asks Ss some more quetions in order to let them guess before listening Hoa: Guess Correct Her age ? Her birthday ? Her address ? Live with ? Worried ? * Practice : - T plays the tape and asks Ss to listen to the dialogue once without looking at the book. - Ask Ss to repeat after the tape once or twice - T presents the structure and asks Ss to practice . “Howold will she be on her next birthday ?” - Ask Ss to practice the dialogue in pairs . - Ask some pairs to perform in front of the class . - Ask Ss to check their prediction ? - Others can make any correction or addition - T corrects if necessary . a, Hoa is 13 years old. b, She will be 14 on her next birthday. c, Her birthday is on June eighth. d, Hoa lives with her uncke and aunt. e, Hoa is worried because she does not have any friends * Pro-duction : - T asks Ss to work in pairs to make a similar dialogue . - T calls some pairs to perform in front of the class . - Others can make any correction or addition 4. Consolidation: - T asks Ss to work in pairs to ask and answer about themselves . - For examples : How old will you be on your next birthday ? Who do you live with ? What is your address ? - Remind Ss the preposition : on 5. Homework: - Practice reading the dialogue. - Do Ex in workbook.
