Warm- up: English Math Subjects at school B. Presentation: P.W.P *Pre- Listening : - T hangs the poster of the subjects on Friday and on Saterday (P3/T/P43) on the black borad and T explains what Ss are supposed to do . - T asks Ss to guees what time each subject starts and which subjects Ss will study on Saterday. - T writes Ss’s prediction on the board . On Friday : Subjects time guess Correct Geography Physics 7.00 8.40 10.30 *While-listening: -T asks Ss to listen to the tape twice then check their prediction. -T calls some Ss to do in front of the class -Others can make any correction or addition . -T corrects if necessary. Keys : Subjects time guess Correct Geography 7.50 Physics 9.40 7.00 English 8.40 Music 10.30 History - Ss look at the pictures on P. 43 and name the subjects in the pictures. - Ss practice asking and answering. Example exchange: - What is Lan studying? She is studying Physics. - What time does Lan have her Physics class? She has her physics class at 8.40. - Ss practice in pairs. - Call some pairs to practice aloud. - Give some remarks. *Post- listening : - T ask Ss to work in groups of five to write a short passage about the subjects they have to study on a school day.( Monday,.....Saturday ) - Some Ss read aloud in front of the class . 4. Consolidation : -T revises Ss Present prgressive tense . 5. Homework : -Do Ex 3,4 in the workbook
