Bài viết phân tích các mô hình bệnh tai mũi họng tại Bệnh viện Đa khoa Gia Lâm, Hà Nội từ năm 2017 đến năm 2022.

Diseases related to ear, nose and throat is common in the community [1], [2]. Annually, the Otolaryngology Department of Gia Lam hospital receives about 15,000 medical visits, accounting for more than 10% of the total number of hospital visits. Therefore, providing quality, safe and effective health services at the Department of Otolaryngology contributes to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment of Gia Lam general hospital. In order to help Gia Lam general hospital plan to invest resources effectively, in line with the needs of patients who come for medical examination and treatment at the Department of Otolaryngology, we conduct research to describe about the pattern of ENT diseases. Objective: To analyze the model of ENT diseases at Gia Lam general hospital in the period 2017-2022. Methods: A cross-sectional study was applied. The data was collected from the patient’s medical records at the Department of Otolaryngology, Gia Lam general hospital from 2017 to 2022. Data was cleaned and entered into a computer, analyzed by STATA 14.0 software. Results: The most common group of diseases included diseases of the throat (41.7%), followed by diseases of the ears (25%), diseases of the sinuses (20.6%), diseases of the nose (7.23%). The most common detailed diseases include: acute/chronic pharyngitis; acute/chronic tonsillitis; otitis media; acute sinusitis. This research result, helps the otolaryngology department, the hospital to plan the allocation of human resources, drugs and medical equipment in the next period in order to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment.
