Nanoscience has emerged to become one of the most exciting areas of researchtoday and has attracted the imagination of a large body of students, scientists,and engineers. The various kinds of nanomaterials that one normally dealswith are the zero-dimensional nanocrystals, one-dimensional nanowires andnanotubes, and two-dimensional nanofilms and nanowalls.
