WARM UP Activity 1: Answer the questions. • What kind of books do you enjoy reading ?(comic, thriller, detective, science ,novel books or short stories ). •What books / stories have you studied lately ?Unit 11: BOOKS * Period 69: Writing ( Writing a book report ) II. Pre- writing:(Work in groups) Read the story “Chi Pheo” and report some main ideas about the book. “Chi Pheo” a short story is written by Nam Cao.The story set in Vu Dai village, where Chi Pheo lives. He grows up and becomes a strong and kind farmer. He works for Ba Kien but Ba Kien put him in prison. When he returns , he meets Thi No and falls in love with her.…. . Nam Cao is famour for the short stories – interesting, sensitive,sympathetic.
