Chuyển mã giữa tiếng Việt và tiếng Anh như một công cụ giao tiếp ở nơi làm việc

Nghiên cứu này chủ yếu tập trung vào mã chuyển đổi giữa tiếng Việt và tiếng Anh như một thiết bị thông tin liên lạc trong các cuộc hội thoại tại nơi làm việc. Nghiên cứu được tiến hành bằng các phương tiện quan sát, phỏng vấn, ghi âm và các câu hỏi trên 200 đại biểu đến từ 20 công ty, văn phòng và nơi làm việc ở Huế, Đà Nẵng và tỉnh Quảng Nam.

This study mainly focuses oncode-switching between Vietnamese and English as a communication device inconversations at workplaces. The study was conducted by means of observations, interviews,recordings and questionnaires on 200 participants from 20 companies, offices andworkplaces in Hue, Da Nang citi and Quang Nam province. The functions of code-switchingthat triggered speaker’s use of English in communication process was descriptivelyexplained. Research shows how CS operates and what impact it has on conversationalprocesses. It is concluded that speakers use code-switching as a valuable linguistic strategyto achieve certain communicative goals. The study is hoped to contribute a small part to thefield of sociolinguistics, especially to the field of code-switching.Key words: Code-switching; communication device; function; worksplaces; the field ofsociolinguistics.1.
